Unique Opportunities

Special Campaigns are occasionally created by The Actors Fund to take advantage of unique opportunities. These campaigns are traditionally for one-time capital expenditures to purchase, improve or construct buildings (commonly known as “bricks and mortar campaigns”).

Campaigns launched to fund these kinds of special projects are designed to enhance the work of The Actors Fund without negatively affecting the many on-going services and programs which are so crucial to the countless members of the entertainment community who must turn to The Fund in times of need.

Currently we are working on two such Special Campaigns. The exciting projects funded by these special campaigns are:  “The Sunshine Boys Campaign” for The Lillian Booth Actors’ Home in Englewood New Jersey and the Schemerhorn House in Brooklyn.
